Pocheron (F/D)
Born in France 1968, now lives in Berlin.
After studying at the Beaux Arts school in Dijon, discovered
live performance and worked as technical director for various
venues and festivals (Nouvelles Scènes, Les Inaccoutumés
in the Ménagerie de Verre, Les Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers,
Kampnagel Hamburg). Since 1996, he collaborates internationally
as technical director, light and set designer or performer in
performance projects, notably with Christine De Smedt (9
times 9), Judith Depaule (Illuminations, Accrochez-moi),
Lilia Mestre and Davis Freeman (Untitle Me, Too Shy To Stare),
Mette Edvardsen (Standing People) or Felix Ruckert
(Hautnah, Krapplack, Deluxe Joy Pilot). He currently
works with Isabelle Schad (The Better You Look The More
You See, Good Work), Xavier Le Roy (Projet), Eszter
Salamon (Reproduction), Marten Spangberg (Powered
By Emotion), Alice Chauchat and Anne Juren (J'aime),
Alice Chauchat and Alix Eynaudi (CRYSTALLL). In 2003,
he initiated together with Isabelle Schad and Ben Anderson the
collaborative project Good Work, concerned with the
presentation, representation and perception of the body onstage
and in society. The artists currently involved in Good Work
are Martin Bélanger (Montréal), Nuno Bizarro
(Portugal / Paris), Hanna Hedman (Sweden / Paris), Benoît Lachambre
(Montreal) und Manuel Pelmus (Bucharest).
